Research on Maharashtra has started. The state board that runs the Mission has been identified and its guidelines page registered as a source, but nobody has read it against the national guidelines yet, so nothing on this page yet describes how Maharashtra itself runs the scheme.
What does apply here: NHM is a national scheme, and the 64 statements we have taken from the MIDH operational guidelines of April 2025 hold in every state — the components the Mission supports, the national cost norms and the general rates of assistance. Those are the guides listed below, and every figure in them names the page it came from.
What we can already see, and have not yet read: the board publishes its own guidelines, including one for protected cultivation dated 7 February 2025, and a separate index of letters and circulars — the page where a change of window, rate or procedure would be announced — whose most recent entry is dated 18 July 2025. Both indexes are now registered as sources, and the protected cultivation guideline is registered as a document in its own right. None of the three has been read, and the guideline’s file has not even been retrieved yet — the board serves its documents through a download control rather than a link, so someone has to fetch it by hand. A state guideline of that date may well add to or vary the national norms for polyhouses and shade net houses — which is exactly the kind of difference this platform exists to surface, and exactly what we cannot yet tell you, because reading it is the work that has not been done.
What is still missing: those guidelines read line by line against the national ones; any circular that opens or closes an application window; and the district offices that receive applications. Until then this page cannot tell you whether you can apply today, where to apply, or what Maharashtra pays over and above the national rate.
If you need one of those answers now, ask. We will answer from what has been verified and say plainly when the answer is not in a document we hold.
