Privacy policy
What NHB Subsidy collects when you read, search, ask a question or request assistance, why, who it is shared with, and the choices you have.
- last updated
Independent educational and assistance platform. Not a government website and not affiliated with or endorsed by NHB, NHM or any government authority. Scheme decisions and approvals rest with the relevant authorities.
This policy is written to be read. It reflects how the platform is built.
Who is responsible
The data fiduciary is Ethereal Corporate Network Private Limited, Bhilai, Chhattisgarh, India. Data-protection requests and grievances are handled by the company at info@nhbsubsidy.com.
The short version
- You can read, search and browse documents without an account, a phone number or any registration.
- Asking a question is private by default and needs no contact details.
- We share your details with a partner business only when you request assistance, only with the one partner we name to you, only the fields you approve, and only after you confirm.
- We never sell personal data, and we do not use your questions to build a sales profile.
- We are paid by partner businesses for introductions you confirm. That is how the site earns, and it is why nothing you read is behind a form.
What we collect, and why
| Activity | Data | Purpose | Kept for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Reading and browsing | Standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested). No account, no tracking pixels unless you accept optional cookies. | Security, capacity, abuse prevention. | 30 days |
| Searching | The search text, with email addresses and long numbers automatically masked before storage; a salted hash of the IP; result count; filters. | Finding gaps in our content. Aggregate reporting only. | 60 days |
| Asking a question | Your question text, scheme and state if given, language, your privacy choice, and an optional email. A private link is created so you can follow up without an account. | Answering you; improving content. Publication only as an anonymised version and only with your permission. | 90 days after the question is closed, or earlier on request. Published anonymised answers remain online. |
| Reporting an issue | Your message, the page, and an optional email. | Correcting content; replying if you asked for one. | 90 days after the report is closed |
| Requesting project assistance | Name, chosen contact method and details, state, district, project details, service requested, your message, and every permission you give or withdraw with its date and the notice version you saw. | Responding to you; introducing you to one named partner after you confirm; keeping a record of what you consented to. | 1 year after the request is closed or withdrawn. |
| Your record of what you agreed to | Each permission you gave or withdrew, its date, and the version of the notice you saw. No project details. | Proving what you consented to. If a partner is ever accused of contacting you without permission, this record is what settles it. | 3 years. It deliberately outlives the request, because deleting it early would leave a complaint impossible to answer either way. |
| Updates by email, if you asked for them | Your email address and whether you opted in. | Sending the updates you asked for. Every message carries an unsubscribe link. | Until you unsubscribe, then 30 days to honour the request. |
| Cookies | Essential cookies only, unless you accept analytics cookies in the banner. Accepting adds Google Analytics cookies — see Measurement. | Session, security, remembering your cookie choice; optional measurement. | Your choice is stored in your own browser until you change it or clear your browsing data. Google Analytics cookies expire after 2 years. |
We do not collect identity documents, bank details or financial records. If a future service needs them, we will say so separately and ask again.
Your state is never sent to us. If you tell the site which state your project is in, or allow your browser to work it out from your device location, that happens entirely in your browser against a table of map boundaries and is stored on your own device. No coordinates reach this server, no geocoding service is contacted, and the choice is not attached to requests, so it never appears in our logs or in measurement.
Measurement
We use Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to count how many people read which pages. It is how we find out which explanations are working and which questions we have not answered well.
Nothing is measured until you accept. Every page tells Google's consent framework to deny analytics and advertising storage before anything else runs, and only your acceptance in the banner changes that. If you choose essential cookies only, or ignore the banner, no analytics request is ever made. The tag manager itself does load on every page, because it is the thing that enforces your choice, but it sets no cookies and collects nothing on its own.
If you do accept, Google receives the page you looked at, the page that sent you, your approximate location worked out from your IP address, and your device and browser type. Google discards the full IP address rather than storing it. We do not send Google your name, your email address, your phone number, your question text, or anything else you type into a form on this site, and we do not use measurement to build a profile of you or to target advertising at you.
Google acts as our processor under contract. Data is kept in Google Analytics for 14 months and then deleted automatically.
You can change your mind at any time: reopen your cookie choices. Google also publishes a browser opt-out add-on that works across every site that uses Analytics.
nhmsubsidy.com is a second domain we own that leads to this same site. It is counted in the same place, not measured separately.
Who sees what
- Private questions are visible only to assigned support and review staff. They are never indexed, never published, and never turned into a commercial profile.
- Public answers are rewritten to remove names, contact details, identification numbers, precise addresses and unnecessary project details, and are published only with your permission. A combination of location, project size and circumstances can identify someone, so we anonymise with judgment, not just by deleting names.
- Partners receive only the fields listed on your private link, only for the request you confirmed, and are contractually barred from onward resale, unauthorised marketing and misuse of your documents.
- Service providers — hosting, email, and Google (Analytics and Tag Manager) if you accept analytics cookies — process data on our instructions and under contract. A current list is available on request from info@nhbsubsidy.com.
- Authorities only where the law requires it.
Your permissions, and withdrawing them
Each permission is asked for separately and is unticked by default: a response from us, willingness to be introduced to a partner, the specific introduction to a named partner, and optional updates. Your private request link shows a ledger of every permission with its date and lets you withdraw future sharing and contact at any time. Withdrawal stops all future sharing from us and requires the partner to stop unauthorised use. Details a partner already received cannot be recalled; we ask them to delete what is no longer needed.
Your rights
You can ask for access to, correction of, export of, or deletion of your personal data, and you can nominate someone to act for you where the law provides for it. Write to the grievance officer at info@nhbsubsidy.com. We respond within the period the law sets and tell you if we cannot act on a request, and why.
Security
Role-based access for staff, multi-factor authentication on staff accounts, encryption in transit, access logs, protected backups and tested restoration. Personal details are kept out of URLs, public logs and analytics events. Private pages are protected by authorisation checks, not merely by a “noindex” tag.
Children
This platform is intended for adults planning agricultural projects. We do not knowingly collect children's personal data.
How deletion actually happens
A scheduled job runs every night and deletes what is past the periods in the table above. The periods in that table are the same values the job reads, so the page and the software cannot drift apart. A published answer stays online because that is what you agreed to when you allowed publication; what is removed from it is the original wording you sent us, your email address and your private link.
Changes
We version this policy and the assistance notice. Consent records store the version you saw. Material changes are announced on this page with the date.
Effective: 8 September 2026 (version 2).
