How we are funded
Commercial disclosure for NHB Subsidy: what is free, what can be paid, how partners are chosen and what money can never buy.
- last updated
Independent educational and assistance platform. Not a government website and not affiliated with or endorsed by NHB, NHM or any government authority. Scheme decisions and approvals rest with the relevant authorities.
What is always free
Explanations, official sources, the glossary, published answers, search and asking a question. None of these require an email address, a phone number, an account, a purchase or a partner introduction. Nothing is held back behind a form, and reading, asking and planning never start a sales process.
This is a commercial decision as much as an ethical one. We are paid for introductions people choose to accept, and that only works if the explanations are worth trusting. Gating them would buy a list of email addresses at the cost of the reason anyone would want the introduction.
So how does contact start?
Only from you, and only on the assistance page. You fill in the form, tick separately whether you are willing to be introduced, and confirm the named partner on a private link before anything is shared. If you never use that page, no business ever receives your details, however much you read.
Where money comes from
- Consented partner introductions. If you explicitly request project assistance and confirm the partner we name, that independent business pays us a fee for the introduction. This is how the platform earns, and we would rather say so on this page than have you work it out later.
- Possible later services, each with a defined deliverable and transparent pricing before you commit: professional project-planning or document-review services delivered by qualified staff; partner workflow subscriptions; clearly labelled sponsored educational events; aggregated, privacy-protected market reports.
What money can never buy
- A verification label, an editorial conclusion, or a change to a published fact.
- A scheme match, a position in search results, or a hidden recommendation advantage. Partners are never shown in educational search results.
- Your raw questions, your private records, or a contact list.
- A better chance of subsidy eligibility or approval. Using a partner does not affect any decision by an authority.
How partners are chosen and handled
Before a business can receive an introduction we verify its identity, geographic coverage, relevant experience and references, and record what was checked. We never describe a partner as government-approved unless there is authoritative evidence. Partner contracts prohibit onward resale of your details, unauthorised marketing, approval guarantees and misuse of documents, and require complaint handling and deletion on request. A partner with a substantiated serious breach is suspended.
How an introduction works
- You request assistance and tick, separately, whether you are willing to be introduced to a partner.
- We shortlist one verified partner that covers your state and offers the service you asked for. If none exists, we tell you and offer to wait or continue independently.
- On your private link you see the partner's name and the exact details that would be shared. You confirm or decline.
- Only after you confirm do we pass those details on, once. We do not send the same request to several businesses unless you ask for multiple quotes and approve each recipient.
- Partners are asked to respond within one business day. You can rate the outcome, report a problem, or withdraw at any time.
Sponsorship and paid placement
Any sponsored content or paid placement is labelled as commercial where it appears and never sits inside factual explanations, verification labels or search results. We do not buy links or reviews and we do not claim guaranteed rankings.
Reporting a concern
If a partner contacted you without your confirmation, misrepresented us, or promised an approval, tell us at info@nhbsubsidy.com. Substantiated reports lead to suspension.
