NHM in Arunachal Pradesh
We have not yet verified Arunachal Pradesh's own NHM documents. The national framework still applies here, and it is below — with the state's own door, and a way to ask us to read the rest.
Independent educational and assistance platform. Not a government website and not affiliated with or endorsed by NHB, NHM, the Arunachal Pradesh government or any authority. Choosing a state does not mean an application is open or that you qualify.

What we know so far
Research on Arunachal Pradesh has started and has got the least far of any state.
The Department of Horticulture's address resolves, and it serves a page of 830 bytes with six links and no content — a shell rather than a site, at least to us. It also serves it with a certificate our checks reject, so a browser is likely to warn a visitor before it opens. Nothing can be registered from it.
Arunachal Pradesh is in the North Eastern region, so the Mission reaches a grower here as HMNEH rather than NHM, and under the current national guidelines the Government of India contributes 90% of the outlay rather than 60%. That is the split between governments, not a rate of assistance to anybody.
What does apply here meanwhile: the 64 statements we have taken from the MIDH operational guidelines of April 2025 hold across the country — the components the Mission supports, the national cost norms and the general rates of assistance. Those are the guides listed below, and every figure in them names the page it came from.
What happens next: finding whether the department publishes anywhere else — a state portal, a district office, or the North Eastern Council — and asking it directly. If you know where Arunachal Pradesh publishes its horticulture scheme material, tell us; this is the state where that would help most.
What Arunachal Pradesh publishes
Written from the state's own pages and documents. Not yet reviewed, and not a statement of what the state pays.

Which scheme reaches Arunachal Pradesh
Not NHM, but HMNEH. The MIDH operational guidelines of April 2025 say the
National Horticulture Mission covers all States and Union Territories except those in
the North Eastern and Himalayan region. Arunachal Pradesh is
one of the eight North Eastern states,
so the Mission reaches a grower here as the Horticulture Mission for North East and Himalayan
States. The components and the national cost norms are the same document; the coverage and the
share a grower pays are not, and nobody here has read the difference yet.
On the NHB side, the Board's circular of 21 August 2026 sets its rate of
assistance at
45% for the North Eastern and Himalayan States, Scheduled Areas and four named Union
Territories@if($isSpecUt), of which Arunachal Pradesh is one@endif. A project here is in that
higher band rather than the 35% general rate.
The rules quoted here are the national ones. Which states sit inside the North Eastern and
Himalayan region is our reading of them rather than a list either document prints, so treat it as
our wording and confirm anything you are about to spend money on.
