Summary

Our editorial summary. It is not the document and does not replace it.

A one-page public circular of 3 September 2026. It records that the Board's scheme guidelines were revised with effect from 21 August 2026, and that to let the revised guidelines be implemented in an orderly way, including verification of pending cases and updating of the online application system, the receipt of fresh Grant of Clearance applications under Scheme No. 1 and Scheme No. 2 is suspended for one month from 4 September 2026.

The online facility for submitting fresh applications is stated to be unavailable during that period. Cases already submitted before the suspension continue to be dealt with. The date for resumption is to be notified separately.
